Trombini is the big winner of the 5S Best Practices Award – Southern Region
Last Thursday (15), Trombini received the annual certificate recognizing the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through the use and consumption of electricity generated from renewable energy sources.
The certification, granted through a partnership between Sinerconsult Consultoria e Treinamento e Participações and COMERC Energia, includes a report measuring the results of greenhouse gas emissions avoided through the company’s use of renewable energy during the period from January to December 2019.
The significant results show that Trombini reduced the equivalent of 5,747.81 tCO₂ (carbon dioxide content) during the evaluated period. This means that the voluntarily avoided emissions are equivalent to 40,234 trees over 30 years in a reforestation project.
This recognition confirms our actions in favor of the environment and reinforces Trombini’s practices based on a sustainable production model.
