On August 20, the community of Caçador Grande, in the municipality of Lebon Régis, Santa Catarina, hosted an event organized by Trombini, aimed at strengthening ties with residents of regions surrounding forest management areas. The event reinforces the company’s commitment to ethical and active engagement with local communities.
Strengthening Relationships Responsibly
The meeting’s main focus was promoting good health and safety practices, as well as fostering dialogue between the company and small rural producers in the region.

Mental Health on the Agenda
One of the highlights of the event was the lecture led by Dr. Alexandre Zatera, an occupational physician at the Fraiburgo unit and a specialist in psychiatry. He addressed topics related to mental health, offering guidance on how to identify and manage psychological illnesses, as well as promoting the importance of emotional care within rural communities.

Field Safety
Next, safety technician Marcio Weber, also from the Fraiburgo unit, led a discussion on the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the necessary precautions during forestry operations near inhabited areas. The discussion was especially relevant for the smallholders present, who work directly with high-risk activities.
Community lunch and bingo round off the day on a light note
After the lectures, participants were invited to a communal lunch, followed by a lively bingo game, promoting moments of relaxation and interaction between residents and company representatives.

The event reinforces the importance of transparent dialogue and Trombini’s active presence in the communities where it operates, consolidating sustainable practices and trusting relationships with local stakeholders.
