International Women’s Day, celebrated on March 8, is an important opportunity to reflect on women’s empowerment and the appreciation of women, both in personal and professional contexts. More than a symbolic date, it reinforces the importance of recognizing achievements and encouraging increasingly inclusive, respectful, and participative corporate environments.
With this purpose, throughout the month of March, Trombini promoted discussion circles on women’s leadership, bringing together female employees to share experiences, reflect on challenges, achievements, and opportunities throughout their journeys, and reinforce the importance of each woman recognizing her role as the author of her own story.
The meetings provided a space for listening, exchanging experiences, and encouraging personal development, showing how dialogue can strengthen trust, empathy, and mutual recognition. As highlighted by Juliana Rischter Balbinot, HR Analyst at the Farroupilha/RS unit, the initiative reinforces important values within the company:
“The initiative promoted by the company reinforces the importance of recognizing and celebrating the strength and talent of women in our society. Actions like this strengthen the workplace environment and demonstrate respect and appreciation. May we continue, together, building and writing stories of achievement and supporting women’s leadership.”
In addition to the discussion circles, some units also brought the topic to DDS (Daily Safety Dialogues), expanding the conversation among teams and reinforcing the importance of valuing women in the industry and corporate environment.
The initiative also encouraged many employees to reflect on their own journeys, highlighting lessons learned, challenges overcome, and meaningful moments. For Simara Zelik, Environmental Analyst at the Curitiba/PR unit, the meeting provided a much-needed pause in the routine:
“The meeting was very important because, within our work routine, we had a moment to look at ourselves. By listening to my colleagues and reflecting on the questions, I was able to see some personal issues differently and value my own journey more. It was a necessary pause for reflection, a true ‘reset,’ which meant a lot to me.”
By sharing experiences, it becomes clear that women’s leadership is built daily—through small decisions, the courage to face challenges, and the constant pursuit of growth. This process also involves self-awareness and self-worth, as highlighted by Zenir Aparecida Pires Beal, Production Assistant at the Fraiburgo/SC unit:
“For those who don’t know me, I am a daughter, a wife, a mother, trained in Logistics, and an entrepreneur. Throughout my journey, I have experienced learning, losses, and often put myself in second place. By writing my story, I realized that I need to love myself, take care of myself, and prioritize myself more. The company’s tribute made me see myself differently. I am grateful for this moment that reminded me of my own value.”
Each story reveals different perspectives, but all share something in common: the strength of women who build their paths with dedication, resilience, and purpose. This recognition is also reflected in the words of Andreia Lovato, Continuous Improvement Analyst at the Canela/RS unit:
“It was important to participate because the message reminds us of what we often forget in the rush of our daily lives: that we are strong women, capable of managing many situations and still being mothers, daughters, wives—and simply being women.”
These accounts reinforce how valuing women also involves recognizing their stories, experiences, and contributions both inside and outside the workplace. When these voices are heard, they inspire other women and strengthen the creation of an increasingly collaborative and respectful environment.
Recognition that drives transformation
At Trombini, we believe that respect and appreciation for people are essential pillars. Recognizing the role of women in the industry and encouraging their leadership is part of this commitment.
The initiatives carried out during Women’s Month reinforce this vision: creating spaces for dialogue, encouraging reflection, and valuing those who contribute daily to the company’s development.
More than a celebration, the date represents an invitation to continue building increasingly inclusive environments where every woman can feel valued, recognized, and the protagonist of her own story.
